Lysander

- lived in the city of Sparta
- son of Aristokleitus (Aristokleitus) and a descendant of Herakles (Hercules)
- Lysander was the commander of the Spartan fleet during the Peloponnesian War
- He found a way to trick the Athenian fleet to gain control of the entire Aegean  Sea.
-  He applied the trick and managed to capture 170  enemy ships out 180 and 3000 men.
- This would later result in the Siege of Athens
